PHIPPS & BIRD ANNOUNCES IMPORTANT ENHANCEMENTS AND CATALOG NUMBER CHANGES TO ITS PB-900™ and PB-700™ JAR TESTER PRODUCT LINES
A number of mechanical components of the Phipps & Bird Jar Tester have been re-engineered to improve its performance and bring it into compliance with CE and cTUVus requirements and labeling. Visually, there are no changes to the machine; all changes are internal.
- The major mechanical and electrical changes are
- A stepper motor drive system (replacing the gear motor drive).
- LED lighting modules (replacing fluorescent lamps).
- The new machine runs on 24VDC and is sold complete with an adapter that will power it from 100VAC to 240VAC sources.
- The product line is streamlined to one series (PB-900 Programmable) available in 2, 4 or 6 station models.
- The PB-700 “Standard” Series is discontinued because the PB-900 “Programmable” Series machines can also be run in a ‘Continuous’ mode, providing the same operational functionality as the old “Standard” model.
